Sending your first email

Before you hit your live list with your finished email, make sure you have thoroughly tested it. You can't do too much testing!
Example Test Procedures
1. Ensure you email is compliant with the law
- Does the message have an unsubscribe link?
- Are the footers inline with legal requirements?
2. Send a test of both the HTML and Plain Text versions to your main email account
- Check spelling and grammar.
- Check the layout renders correctly, including images and fonts.
3. Test the message against popular email providers (Google, Yahoo, and Hotmail accounts are all free to sign up for)

4. Send a test message to colleagues
