Send Email

It is strongly advised that an email is never sent without a test being sent first. Once the message has been fully tested, you can take the Send Email option. To choose which message to send navigate through the Campaign structure and select the one that you want by opening it.
When you take Send Email the following screen will appear:
Select Filter
The filter defines the group of people that that the message will be sent to. There are different kinds of Filters which specify the list in different way. Here you can select
Schedule Date Time
This is the date and time that the message should start to send. It will default to the current date and time. NOTE: This will not mean that the recipients will receive the email at this time. Depending on other factors there may be a short delay before recipients are in receipt of the email.
Preprocessing Option
Preprocessing an Email Send is very effective if your Email is being sent to a large number of people, and especially if the delivery time is critical.
Submit
Clicking on Submit will queue the email and you will be taken to the Send Orders page which shows the status all messages that have been queued.
Actions on Sending
You can set an action to Modify Information on the Contact Record at the time that the email is sent. This is could be used to permanently record that a particular contact has been sent an email and perhaps to stop it being sent a second time at a later date.
