SMS Messages

Etelligent includes an SMS module (disabled by default) which allows you to send and receive text messages with your account.
Functionality
SMS sends are very similar to creating and sending a plain text email, except you have a maximum of 160 characters to use.
You can use merge fields (e.g. "Dear --name--"), view delivery and open reports, and receive and process replies as the SMS module has its own inbox.
Purchasing Credits
SMS credits must be pre-purchased (much like a pre-pay mobile phone). Purchasing SMS credits works on an economy of scale; that is, the more your purchase, the cheaper the individual SMS price.
To purchase SMS credits, please click the Technical Support link inside Etelligent and send us a message detailing the number of messages you wish to send. Will then provide you with a price and add them to your account.
