Note: By Default the On-Screen Report shows only data from a Live Send; you can use the below radio-button group to have the Report display Test Send data or All data.

Email Sends

In the top-left on the On-Screen Report, a boxed area titled "Email Sends" offers summary statistics about your send.

On Screen Summary Report

Number of Sends/Emails

This simply shows how many times you have sent the email. It could be more than one if you sent out the message to a number of filters (distribution lists). The number of emails will be 1 as this is a report on a single email.

Totals

This section shows you how many messages were sent, and how many bounced, how many people unsubscribed and how many people took the 'forward to a friend' option.

Interactions

Here you can see the number of people who opened the email and how many followed the 'calls to action' i.e. the links in the email.

Note: The number under "Contacts" represents unique clicks, the number under "Total" reprents the summary of all clicks (since people may have clicked the same, or different, links more than once).

Raw Statistics

The tab labelled Raw Statistics shows detailed data on your email send.

Raw Statistics

The table is sub-divided into two sections: the top row shows the data for individual sends (if you have sent a message more than one you will have a row for each send), whilst the bottow section shows totals and averages for the sends.

Note: All of the numbers on the Raw Statistics are hyperlinks, by clicking on them you can drill-down to a lower-level of information.

Column header definitions

  • Email - the name of subject line of your email
  • Scheduled Time - the date/time the email was queued to send
  • Status - the email's status in the Message send queue
  • Sent - the number of recipients in the target Filter
  • Hard Bounces - the number of bounced addresses
  • Confirmed Opens - the number of opened emails. This percentage represents the number of emails that have been opened from the total send number minus the hard bounces.
  • Click Throughs - the number of recipients who clicked any link in your message; Contacts represents unique clicks, whilst Total represents all clicks for that message. This percentage is worked out using the number of Confirmed Opens.
  • Unsubscribes - the number of recipients who either clicked the Unsubscribe link in your email or who were identifiable by a Bounce Management Rule as wishing to unsubscribe and this unsubscribe action was attributable back to this particular email

Confirmed Opens

You can drill-down to individual recipients who opened your message by clicking on either the Contacts number (unique) or Total number (non-unique).

Confirmed Opens

Once you drill-down to these recipients, the "Create Mailing Filter Based On All Contacts" allows you to either include or exclude these contacts in a new Filter, from which you can email them or export them as a .csv which you can open in Excel.

Click Throughs

By clicking on the number in the Total column for Click Throughs, you can drill-down a level to see each link in your message and how many recipients clicked it. The results are reported using the Link Names that were specifed in Link Management when the email was built.

Select Click Total

The table below, summarising click activity, appears underneath the Raw Statistics table in the On-Screen Report:

Links

You can then drill-down a further level by click on the name of the link.

Clickers

By drilling down to this level, the On-Screen Report shows you a paginated list of all recipients who clicked the link. The "Create Mailing Filter Based On All Contacts" allows you to either include or exclude these contacts in a new Filter, from which you can email them or export them as a .csv which you can open in Excel.
