The best way to use the Knowledge Base is to use the Search option. However, on this page we have given an overview of the different areas of Etelligent with some, hopefully, useful starter links. Remember that we are very keen to make improvement to by email any corrections and clarifications and if you want to contribute contact that would be warmly welcomed too.
eMarketing Activities
Etelligent allows for three types of 'Document'. These are
All the documents are structured in the same way, and are built using shared building blocks called Components. These are reusable design elements, which provide a very flexible way to build and deliver marketing campaigns. Components can be assembled into a document and then edited using the Graphical Editor.
You can organise your documents in a hierarchical filing system. Etelligent calls the folders in file structure Campaigns.
Collecting data about contacts is also very important and to help with this Etelligent provides a Surveys module. Surveys can also be used to make Signup Forms.
Contacts
At the heart of a database marketing tool like Etelligent is the Contacts Database. This is the list of contacts maintained for the purpose of sending out email of SMS messages. Segmentation of this list is achieved by means of Filters which allow you to select contacts for participation in a campaign.
