Editing Images

Before you insert an image it must first be prepared. Here are some thoughts on Preparing Images for use in Etelligent.
1. Click on the button called Image. The Image -- Web Page Dialog window will open.
2. Click on the folder located on the right hand side of the Source textfield. NOTE: If this is not visible simply resize this window. The Asset Manager window will open. The Asset Manager is the directory that contains all the images, pdfs etc. that have been uploaded into the application.
3. Use the drop-down menu to navigate to the folder you wish to upload your image to. New folders can be added by navigating to the folder you wish to make the new folder a sub-folder of and clicking on New Folder.
Note: If sending frequent newsletters (weekly or bi weekly) to have monthly sectioned folders e.g. images/folders/newsletters/year/month to make storing and finding images more organized and thus easier for the user
4. Once in the required folder, click on the Browse... button and navigate to the file on your local computer. Click on the file and Click Open or double-click on the file.
5. Click on the upload button and the file should appear in the list to the right hand side of the preview panel.
6. Click on the image name and a preview of the image should appear in the preview panel and the path should appear below. Click on OK to be returned to the Image -- Web Page Dialog window with the Source text field prefilled with the path. Attributes of the image such as Spacing can be adjusted here.
7. Click insert to add the image to the editor.
8. Click update to update the page.
9. Click Commit Changes to save the amends.
NOTE: You can amend an image by clicking on the image so that the surrounding 8 white squares appear and then clicking on the Image button.
